The “Full Cold Moon” will be the Full Moon December 2022. From the early morning hours of Thursday, December 8, people in North America can see the Full Moon 2022. According to NASA, this will be the longest time of the year to see the natural satellite. That will last about 15 hours and 33 minutes.

From December 8 to December 29, the satellite will go through different phases where it will be harder to see. On December 24, when it reaches a new moon, it will be even harder to see from Earth.

At 22:36 on Thursday, the Moon will be at its most beautiful. For the next two days, it will look full. However, they won’t be as big or bright as the “Supermoons” in the first few months of the year.

The last full Moon of the year will be closer to apogee when it is about 406,321 kilometers from Earth. At an average distance of more than 22,000 kilometers from Earth, it will look a little smaller than the other moons in 2022. For example, the well-known Hunter’s Moon.

At dusk, around 6 p.m. (GMT -6), the Moon will appear on the horizon. As it slowly gets smaller, it will keep moving through the constellations of Gemini, Taurus, and Orion. The next time the full Moon 2023 will be seen in the night sky on January 7, 2023.

The event will last all day, and during that time, the Moon will be in line with Mars. During that time, the Moon will block Earth’s view of Mars for about two and a half hours.
