New Xbox Game Pass October 2022 Release Dates

Microsoft revealed on Tuesday that Xbox Game Pass would receive at least 11 new games in October 2022, including four day-one releases. The stealth action-adventure follow-up A Plague Tale: Requiem will be accessible in India on the night of October 17 but will be released globally on PC and Xbox Series S/X on October 18. The atmospheric first-person horror adventure Scorn, which will be released on PC and Xbox Series S/X a few days earlier on October 14, will also be made available to Game Pass users.

On October 14 for PC and consoles, we also offer a multiplayer social deduction game called Eville. The last remaining strategy is Dyson Sphere Program, a space simulation game that ended its 19-month early access period on Steam on October 13 and will now be available on PC Game Pass.

The multiplayer first-person slasher Chivalry 2—coming to PC and consoles—arrives on Microsoft’s subscription program roughly 16 months after debut, making it the biggest Game Pass release outside of day-one launches in October 2022. The side-scrolling action game The Legend of Tianding, which launches on Game Pass for PCs and consoles on October 31, has a similar gap. The Legend of Tianding was not included in Microsoft’s announcements, but Gadgets 360 learned about it from the Game Pass app.

Going back in time, Medieval Dynasty, a survival, crafting, and town management adventure game, will be available on Xbox Game Pass for Series S/X on Thursday, October 6. It was first released in September 2020. PC Game Pass already offers Medieval Dynasty. Additionally, we are already aware that Persona 5 Royal will be available on Game Pass. It is available on PC, Xbox One, and Series S/X on October 20 in India and October 21 worldwide after its March 2020 global release. Expect that to be emphasized later in October as Microsoft doesn’t mention it in its announcement.

The three games that are left are much older. On Thursday, October 6, PC Game Pass will provide the first and second seasons of Telltale’s The Walking Dead franchise, which debuted between 2012 and 2014. The 2010 party-based role-playing game Costume Quest, which is currently the oldest game on the Game Pass October 2022 list, will join Microsoft’s subscription service on October 11.

Naturally, this isn’t an exhaustive list. With the exception of a few titles, this is, as we have come to understand, very much for the first half of the month. Nearer to mid-October, more Game Pass announcements are to come, most likely including Persona 5 Royal and The Legend of Tianding.

Additionally, six titles this month alone are leaving Game Pass, as is customary. The complete list is shown toward the conclusion.

Microsoft also reminds players that the Heroes of High Isle in-game event for The Elder Scrolls Online concludes on October 11 and that the Canada World Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now accessible anywhere the game is playable.

The final Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bonus for October 2022 includes an upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for Need for Speed Heat, an Apex Legends From Above Weapon charm, and cosmetics for the game’s Eville. Beginning on October 11, all of these benefits will become available. They are redeemable through the Xbox dashboard.
