Brazil defeated South Korea in the Round of 16 by a score of 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The first half was when the Seleço caused the brunt of its damage. During the first 45 minutes of play, Vinicius Jr., Neymar, Richarlison, and Lucas Paqueta all scored goals for South Korea.

Brazil likewise didn’t seem to be slowing down. Goalkeeper Kim Seung-gyu of South Korea made a diving fingertip save in the 55th minute to prevent the Brazilians from scoring their fifth goal.
South Korea ultimately responded with a goal in the 76th minute. Brazil didn’t get a clean sheet thanks to a screamer from Paik Seung-ho that was blocked from outside the box. The quarterfinal match between Brazil and Croatia will take place on Friday. In their Round of 16 match earlier today, Croatia overcame Japan on penalties.
Two additional games will be played tomorrow to determine the World Cup 2022’s final eight competitors. Spain and Morocco square off at 10:00 ET. At 2:00 PM ET, Portugal will play Switzerland.
