Google has increased the storage cap for Workspace Individual users from 15GB to 1TB. The Individual membership, in contrast to other Workspace subscriptions, is intended to be utilized by individuals who want to use it for their small business, such a store. While Google has increased the number of countries where Workspace Individual is accessible, India is still not one of them. Users who want to increase their storage limitations beyond the free, very basic 15GB are limited in their options by this. We will look at how to access the higher storage cap plans that Google still offers.

Google One

Your Google account’s 15GB of free storage have been used up? Google One might be the best option for you if all you want is an increased storage capacity so you can store more data in Google’s cloud. The entry-level package, which includes 100GB of storage, costs Rs 130 per month. That’s not all, though. Along with that, you also get access to Google Experts for computer assistance, more editing options in Google Photos, and other various “member advantages,” including the opportunity to share the additional cloud storage with up to five family members.

It’s simple to sign up for the subscription:

All you have to do is visit the Google One official website and choose your preferred alternative.

When you tap one of those, a dialog window where you can opt to pay for the subscription will appear. You’ll need to use bank cards or PayTM Wallet instead of UPI choices since they are not yet available.

All of your Google apps, including Gmail, Drive, and Docs, should have more storage available once the purchase is complete. In addition to letting you control your storage plan and back up your phone, the Google One app is where you can subscribe.

Google Workspace

Google One simply offers the essentials, but if you are a business owner or professional, Google Workspace and all of its extra features might be a better fit. To centralize their operations and give their employees better communication capabilities, firms can subscribe to the service, which is effectively a package of 14 Google apps. Of course, it also gets more storage, as the entry-level plan offers 30GB of storage per user for a maximum of 300 people. In addition, you gain access to security and administration controls, an extended 100-person video meeting capacity, and a bespoke business domain email.

Although there are a few more steps than with Google One, signing up for Google Workspace is still a straightforward process:

Visit the Google Workspace page to get started

The Business Starter (30GB per user), Business Standard (2TB per user), Business Plus (5TB per user), and Enterprise plans are available for selection.

Enter your name, email address, the number of persons who will share the subscription, and a domain. Each user will receive an email from the domain with their name@company-domain email address.

You should be able to begin after completing a few additional steps that involve entering your contact information and paying for the subscription.
