According to Indian media, Gautam Adani has topped the Forbes list, surpassing Amazon’s owner Jeff Bezos. Elon Musk is still at the top of the list as the richest person in the world. A few days ago, Adani became the first citizen of Asia to rise to the third position on the list of richest people.

According to the Forbes real-time billionaires list released on Friday, Adani’s assets have increased by about four percent compared to the previous year. Adani’s asset growth is 3.48 percent. Currently, the Adani Group chairman has a net worth of $155.5 billion. This amounts to Rs 12.37 lakh crore in Indian currency.

As such, Adani has left behind the owner of Amazon for a short time. At the same time, Adani has also topped the list by Bernard Arnault, the owner of Louis Vuitton. However, like the previous list, Tesla chief Elon Musk is at the top this time. His net worth is $273.5 billion. Mukesh Ambani, another Indian, is also on the list of the top 10 richest people.

According to the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list, Bernard Arnault, who is third on the list, has a net worth of $153.5 billion. Jeff Bezos, fourth on the list, has a net worth of $149.7 billion.

Earlier on August 30, Adani became the first Asian person to achieve the third position in the list of the world’s richest people. But in recent times, several reports have said that the Adani group is borrowing more than necessary to grow its business. As a result, they may face problems in the future, these reports claim. However, the Adani group rejected the claim. In a 15-page report, it was said that the Adani group is continuously reducing the debt burden.

According to media reports, Adani’s assets have increased steadily since the beginning of 2022. In February, Gautam Adani overtook Mukesh Ambani to become India’s richest man. Since the beginning of this year, Adani’s net worth has increased by $ 7,000 crore.
