According to a story by Business Insider, his family’s South Mumbai house, Antilia, has 27 stories and 9 high-speed elevators. The residence has a multi-story garage with space for 168 automobiles. In addition, it features three helipads, a big ballroom, a theater, a spa, a temple, and numerous terraced gardens. It should come as no surprise that this home tops the list of the world’s most expensive and luxury residences.

2. Quad Penthouse at 220 Central Park South: $240 million

Ken Griffin or Kenneth Cordele Griffin is a hedge fund manager and billionaire from the United States. Additionally, he is the founder and CEO of Citadel. Griffin reportedly paid over $240 million in 2019 for the quad penthouse at 220 Central Park South in New York. For good cause, it was one of the most expensive purchases of the previous year! The penthouse occupies three storeys of the structure, is around 23,000 square feet in size, and includes 16 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, and five balconies.

3. The Manor, LA: $120 million

Los Angeles’s largest home is The Manor. There are 123 rooms, 14 bedrooms, and 27 bathrooms in its 56,000 square feet of space. In addition to the 123 rooms, the hotel features a beauty salon, bowling alley, nightclub, and barbershop. The residence also features a 5-acre garden and a tennis court.

The Manor belonged to Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone until last year. Now, it belongs to an unidentified buyer who apparently purchased it for $120 million in a cash transaction.

According to Robb Report, Uber co-founder Garrett Camp spent $71 million on one of the most costly and opulent homes in the world: a Beverly Hills, California estate located in the Trousdale Estates. Over 12,000 square feet in size, with an additional acre of land, a semi-subterranean automobile gallery, and a zero-edge swimming pool.

5. California beach house: $43 million

Business Insider revealed in April that Bill and Melinda Gates, two of the world’s most generous billionaires, had made a new real estate investment in California. The couple acquired a lovely California beach house with tranquil décor and neutral hardwood flooring.

6. Penthouse with its own helipad: $20 million

Owned by: David and Victoria Beckham

In 2019, ex-soccer players David Beckham and Victoria Beckham acquired an attic in the Museo de los Mil, replete with its own helicopter. The structure is located in Miami and was designed by Zaha Hadid. The Beckhams’ penthouse is one of ten in the skyscraper, which includes 84 properties, including a two-story duplex penthouse, four townhouses, and 70 half-story units, according to the Robb Report. Prices range from $5.9 million to $21.85 million.
