iPhone 14 series was officially unveiled at Apple’s “Far Out” event on Wednesday. The newest series of smartphones from Apple has four models: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This was hinted to in numerous leaks and rumors over the past few months. The iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the models designed for people who want larger screens, whilst the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are the smaller varieties. Since the release of the iPhone X, these are the first models in the iPhone Pro line to feature a new front design. The front camera and advanced Face ID technology are now housed in a pill-shaped cutout in place of the infamous notch.

Additionally, the pro versions have the newest Apple Bionic A16 SoC under the hood, as opposed to the non-pro models, which had last year’s Apple A15 Bionic SoCs. The most recent cellphones in the US provide E-sim activation without Wi-Fi. The iPhone models sold in the US won’t have a SIM tray for the first time.

Additionally, the smartphone has satellite SOS communication capabilities that can be used in emergency situations. For two years, the feature will be included for free with iPhone 14 starting in the US and Canada. Additionally, every phone has a crash-detection feature.

Preorders for the iPhone 14 will start on September 9. Beginning on September 16, the iPhone 14 will be available for purchase, and on October 7 the iPhone 14 Plus will.

The entry-level iPhone 14 Pro is available for $999, while the top-tier iPhone 14 Pro Max is priced at $1,099. Beginning on September 9, these models will be available for preorder, and on September 16, they will be for sale.

The device features a 6.7-inch OLED display, and according to Apple, the iPhone 14 Plus has the highest battery life ever for an iPhone. The A15 Bionic SoC, which also drives the stock iPhone 14, is found inside, and both devices’ camera systems are similar.

Apple reportedly employed surgical grade stainless steel, which is wear and corrosion-resistant, for the Pro models. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR Always-On OLED display on the iPhone 14 Pro has Apple’s ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate technology. The Pro models may scale from 10Hz to 120Hz and can change their refresh rates to offer a system that is both more power-efficient and provides smoother motion.

For those who want larger displays, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is an option and has almost the same hardware as the iPhone 14 Pro. The top-tier device has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate technology as Apple’s ProMotion.
