Duesenberg Model J Murphy SWB Convertible Coupe (1929)

The Duesenberg Model J Murphy SWB Convertible Coupé, driven by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in the Oscar-winning 1934 film The Merry Divorcee, sold for $2.37 million in 2013. The fact that Rogers actually owned the car is intriguing about it.

Ferrari 750 Monza Spider (1955)

A classic is the Ferrari 750 Monza Spider. This appealing model was driven by Fred Astaire in the Academy Award-winning movie The Final Hour (1959). Additionally, it is one of the few vehicles that have survived after the racing movie Grand Prix’s scenes were filmed (1966). In 2011, the Ferrari 750 Monza Spider brought $2.5 million at auction.

Mercedes-Benz S 26/180 Boattail Speedster (1928)

This Mercedes-Benz was displayed on the big screen in the Katharine Hepburn film Silvia’s Big Adventure. The Marx Brothers owned this car back then, but it was sold at auction for $3.7 million in 2010.

Ford Mustang GT390 (1968)

The iconic Batmobile, driven by the superhero Batman, was sold in 2013 for $4.62 million. It is arguably one of the most well-known cars in film history.

Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta (1956)

This vintage vehicle appeared in the 1968 Disney film There Goes That Racing Car alongside the fabled Herbie the Volkswagen Beetle. Ferrari created just nine examples of this particular model, which was sold at auction for $6.71 million in 2012. Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe (1965)

In 2009, this vintage vehicle fetched $7.25 million at auction.

Ferrari 250 GT California Spider (1961)

The Ferrari 250 GT California Spider, a model that starred in Sophie Loren’s 1963 Oscar-winning film Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, holds the top spot in this ranking. Only 37 of these models were made by Ferrari, and the one used in the film sold in 2016 for a staggering $17.1 million, making it one of the most famous movie cars of all time to be auctioned off.
