• Just like restoration, the costs incurred when customizing your car is hefty.
• Since the car is tweaked to your liking, it may be hard to sell it. You have to hope that someone out there will like your car design.
• Your customized car may distract other drivers who will consequently cause road accidents. Imagine a case where you customize your car lights so brightly such that they nearly blind drivers near you.

Restoration or customization?

Before a driver decides on the two procedures, they must first consider the extent of damage to their car. If your car is severely wrecked in the event of an accident, then restoration is your option. Restoration aims to make your car look as it did before the accident. Also during an accident, the entire car is damaged so customization wouldn’t work, since it entails modifying or adding only some car parts.

If your car is not severely wrecked and can still be used on the road, customization remains the logical option here.
