When Liam tells Harris of his discovery, the latter informs him and Darius that the U.S. government is aware of the impending collision and is secretly trying to avert a catastrophe.

He also tells them that the truth must be hidden from the public to prevent the collapse of the world’s political and economic order. But as the series progresses, the truth unravels. And later, it is fully revealed. As predicted, the world economic and political order collapses. At the same time, complications arise in Darius’ plans to fight the asteroid. And at the end of the second season, it turns out that the asteroid nicknamed Samson is not an asteroid at all.
