Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange Review and Full Specifications
Design
Even though this phone isn’t cheap, Oppo didn’t hesitate to give it a very unique look. Don’t forget that the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange is a mid-range phone, even though it doesn’t look like it. The Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange has a slim body with a design called “Ultra-Slim Retro.” It is 159.9mm long and 73.2mm wide. This phone is very easy to use because it only weighs 175g.
The camera module, which has three cameras and an LED flash, is on the back of the phone. Two of the three cameras have large lenses, and the third camera has an RGB ring light around it that shows when a call or notification is coming in. This is where Oppo did a great job with the design of this phone.
On the Oppo Reno 7 Sunset Orange, the power button is separate from the volume button. This makes it easier to use. The power button is on the right, and the volume button, SIM card slot, and SD card slot are all on the left. The USB Type-C charging port is in the middle of the bottom of the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange. The speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack are to the right and left, respectively.
The Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange got an IPX4 certification, which means it can only handle splashes of water. This phone comes in two colors: Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange.
Display

The Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange has a big screen with a punch-hole display that is 6.4 inches. This phone’s screen is an AMOLED panel, which has been the best display technology for years. Because of this, the Oppo Reno 7 Sunset Orange has an FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20.9, and a pixel density of 409ppi. The refresh rate of the screen is 90Hz, and the touch sampling rate is 180Hz. This makes scrolling through your screen smooth and quick.
The colors on the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange screen are bright and clear, which makes for a great multimedia experience. The screen is also bright enough to use in the sun, with a maximum brightness of up to 800nits. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on this phone keeps it from getting scratches.
Camera

The camera on the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange has three parts, just like we said before. Starting with the main camera, it has a 64MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. The main camera has a 2MP macro lens with an aperture of f/3.3. This macro lens can do 15x and 30x magnifications, just like Oppo said. Lastly, there is a 2MP depth sensor for taking portraits.
We’re impressed with how well the main camera takes pictures, especially on sunny days. It uses a pixel-binning 4-to-1 technology to make 16MP images, which we found to be very good. When there isn’t much light like at night, the camera has trouble taking bright pictures. Even with the dedicated flashlight, photos aren’t as clear and sharp as they were back in the day.
You can’t take photos with a wide field of view because Oppo took out the ultra-wide shooter and put in a macro lens instead. With its 15x magnification, the 2MP macro lens can take very clear pictures of small things like plants or tissues, and it can also use up to 30x magnification. The 32MP sensor in the front-facing camera makes it very good at taking nice selfies.
Performance, Storage, and Software
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset that comes with the Oppo Reno 7 Sunset Orange is a Quad-core processor made with 6nm processor technology. Most gaming phones have this chipset, and Oppo has built its marketing campaign for this model around gaming services. In terms of performance, the Reno 7 can handle any task without getting too hot.
Even when playing games, the performance is smooth and easy. Games like PUGB mobile work great on this phone, and it doesn’t lag or slow down.
The Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space on the inside. Oppo has done a good job of making sure there is enough storage and giving you the option to add more with a microSD card slot.
The Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange uses the Android 12 operating system and the ColorOS 12 interface. Oppo is known for having a settings menu that is easy to use and features that can be changed. Also, the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange comes with the latest version of Android, which means it has lots of cool features and upgrades for even more.

Battery
The battery that powers the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange is a 4500mAh Li-Po battery with SuperVOOC charging technology. The dedicated 33W fast charging support makes it possible for the phone to charge from empty to full in about an hour.
Final verdict
What should a mid-range have for it to be a good sign to buy? I think the price is the most important thing! Here, Oppo is able to give a good experience at a fair price. Overall, the Oppo Reno7 Sunset Orange back camera module is the weakest part of this device. This, along with the fact that it doesn’t have a 5G antenna, makes the device seem less expensive.
