iPhone 14 series was officially unveiled at Apple’s “Far Out” event on Wednesday. The newest series of smartphones from Apple has four models: the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This was hinted to in numerous leaks and rumors over the past few months. The iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the models designed for people who want larger screens, whilst the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are the smaller varieties. Since the release of the iPhone X, these are the first models in the iPhone Pro line to feature a new front design. The front camera and advanced Face ID technology are now housed in a pill-shaped cutout in place of the infamous notch.

Additionally, the pro versions have the newest Apple Bionic A16 SoC under the hood, as opposed to the non-pro models, which had last year’s Apple A15 Bionic SoCs. The most recent cellphones in the US provide E-sim activation without Wi-Fi. The iPhone models sold in the US won’t have a SIM tray for the first time.

Specifications for the iPhone 14

Like the previous model, the iPhone 14 has a flat-edge aerospace-grade aluminum frame, Ceramic Shield material on the front, and IP68 dust and water resistant rating. The device has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, which is reported to be brighter and more accurate in terms of color reproduction than the device from the previous year. They are supposed to feature Dolby Vision and have a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
