1. Quality Matters

Spend time together as a family. Feeling loved and supported helps people become more resilient on the emotional front. Spend time with your youngster every day. It’s not necessary to put in a lot of effort to spend quality time with your kids; you can just set up a little period of time each day to be together without any interruptions.

2. Have a discussion

Talk to your kids about feelings so they can learn to express their concerns and worries to the people they care about. Never dismiss what they say; rather, calmly listen to them, respond to their inquiries. Establish a secure environment between you and your kids so they can talk to you about anything.

3. Avoid discouraging

Recognizing children’s efforts and inspiring them to try again after disappointment or failure is vital. Make an effort to help them realize that while failure is a part of life, what matters most is trying, so they will never be afraid to try anything out of the fear of failing.

4. Admit your errors

Recognize and accept your own mistakes to demonstrate to kids the value of making errors in learning. If you ever feel that you have inadvertently harmed your children or uttered something offensive, apologize.

5. Be curious

Use gentle questions to point your youngster in the proper path if they need help solving a problem. Never try to quell their curiosity—always acknowledge it.
