Elon Musk claims that the next SpaceX mission will include free WiFi and food warmer.
The crew of SpaceX’s all-civilian Inspiration4 mission has been seen in videos and photos having a good time aboard the Dragon capsule three days into the journey. The crew members have live-streamed their zero-gravity ukulele performance and phone chat with their colleagues back home, in addition to conducting research while orbiting Earth. They do, however, appear to have an “exceptional” complaint. Pizza, their first supper in space, was served cold. After it was published by the Inspiration4 Twitter account, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk apologized and stated that the Dragon capsule would not only include food warmers, but also complimentary Wi-Fi.
Musk’s suggestion of free WiFi was most likely in reference to SpaceX’s Starlink project. SpaceX manages a satellite Internet constellation that provides low-latency Internet connection to the majority of the planet. It’s currently available in 14 countries, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Inspiration4 is the first four-day orbital space journey with only four private citizens on board. The four members are healthy and happy, according to SpaceX. They had traveled 5.5 times around Earth staring out of the Dragon ship’s cupola – the largest space window ever created – and had a couple of meals before going to bed for their first night in space. Coffee and tea, cold pizzas, sandwiches, meatballs, salamis, and snacks like skittles and ginger chews were among their meals.

Musk had previously tweeted that he had spoken with the crew and that “everything is good.”

NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida launched the Inspiration mission. It came roughly two months after Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos went to space in their respective spacecraft.
It’s SpaceX’s most recent mission, which Musk launched in 2002 with the goal of colonizing Mars and making “humans a multi-planetary species.”
Inspiration4 will return to Earth at a later time on Saturday in the United States. The splashdown is scheduled for just after 7 p.m. EDT (4:30 a.m. IST Sunday) off the coast of Florida.
