Vivo Y53s Review, Features and Specifications

Vivo Y53s

Vivo, a well-known smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled their latest innovation, the Vivo Y53s. As a lower-mid budget phone, the phone has been added to Vivo’s much-loved Y series line. In India, Vivo released the phone on August 9th. The Vivo Y series is aimed at providing high-quality low- to mid-range phones. The most recent device adheres to the principle. Within its price range, the Vivo Y53s has some impressive features. Let’s go into the phone’s inner workings. In this Vivo Y53s review, you will get a complete idea before buying the brand’s latest smartphone.

The new Vivo Y53s’ greatest selling point is its triple rear camera arrangement, which includes a 64MP sensor for the primary lens. Another notable feature of the gadget is its 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W rapid charging.

Vivo Y53s Features and Full Specifications

Design

The Vivo Y53s is easy to hold because to its dimensions of 164 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm. However, at 189g, it may appear to be a touch heavy. It’s possible that the increased weight is to accommodate the huge battery. The phone’s back is entirely constructed of plastic, with a triple camera slot in the upper right corner.

The fingerprint sensor is on the right side of the phone, positioned on the side. A volume rocker is mounted on top of the sensor. The phone’s left side is empty, while the bottom features a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C connection, and a microphone. A noise canceling port and a dual stand-by SIM card are located on the upper side. There are three card slots here, allowing for memory expansion up to 1TB.

The phone will be available in two color options: Fantastic Rainbow and Deep Sea Blue. The appearance of these two variations is vastly different.

Display

The Vivo Y53s has a 6.58-inch full-HD IPS display with a P3 color gamut and a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. The color gamut range is intended to improve video and game viewing experiences. The display has a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 84.5 percent and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a pixel density of 401ppi.

The Vivo Y53’s display is nothing special. The majority of phones in the same price range have the same display. The displays on the Vivo Y53s and Vivo Y52s may look identical to Vivo fans. The display on the new Y53 phone, however, does not support HDR10.

Overall, the display quality is average. With a good color projection, users will enjoy good viewing angle support. To provide crisper sights in daylight, the brightness level should be increased. The lengths of the chin and bezel are also standard, and a tear-drop front camera housing fits them well.

Front Camera

The Vivo Y53s has a special focus on the selfie camera, as advertised, to provide users with the experience they desire. To offer a real-life light projecting impression for selfies, the 16MP HD lens uses a noise correction technology and aura screen light.

It ensures high-quality photographs no matter how far you are from the lens or how dark your skin is. It produces clear images with a well-balanced brightness. The selfie camera also has numerous levels of exposure updates, resulting in higher-quality photographs in low-light situations.

Back Camera

A 64MP super high definition lens, a 2MP Bokeh lens, and a 2MP super macro lens make up the three-lens configuration. The Vivo Y53’s 64MP sensor is a great feature that captures detailed photographs. It can take good photos in both daylight and darkness. The quality of the low-light shots is far superior to those of competing phones in the same price range. The camera system has a night mode that it uses. Additionally, the function minimizes noise and allows lenses to capture more information from the object.

The 2MP Bokeh lens does an excellent job capturing detailing and enhancing long-range shots. When photographing portraits or long-distance shots, the lens makes all the difference. The 2MP super macro lens is also suitable for close-up photography. The lens’s ability to detail is satisfactory.

Performance, Software, and User Interface

The MediaTek Helio G80 is one of the most popular chipsets for phones in the lower-mid pricing range. The chipset was also used by Vivo in the Vivo Y53s. It’s an octa-core 64-bit processor with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. The Mali GPU of the Helio G80 runs at up to 950MHz.

The phone has an 8GB RAM and a 128GB storage capacity in terms of memory. Both memories can be expanded. Vivo announced an extended RAM technology that allows users to increase their existing memory capacity by 3GB. The storage memory can be expanded up to 1 terabyte.

When it comes to handling daily tasks and browsing, the phone performs admirably. Users will be able to play games with lower to mid-resolutions as well. A high-configuration setup may cause lag and the application to reboot. The phone’s multi-turbo technology supports smooth multitasking in the background.

The Vivo Y53s runs on Funtouch OS 11.1, which is based on Android. The system can be customized in a variety of ways.

Charger and Battery

A massive 5000mAh battery has been offered to support all of the phone’s extendable and AI features. Users can live with their phones for more than a day if they use them often. Heavy users may require more than 7 to 8 hours of support. The phone’s battery will last long enough to watch videos or play games for long periods of time.

In addition, the Y53s comes with a 33W flash charger that charges the phone from bottom to top in just a few hours.

Vivo Y53s Price in Bangladeshi

In Bangladesh, only one variant of the Vivo Y53s is officially available. It contains 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB hard drive. The phone’s official pricing is BDT 22,990.

Vivo Y53s Review and Verdict

The Vivo Y53s comes with a standard set of features. The IPS LCD display, standard camera line, dependable processor Helio G80, strong 8GB RAM, ample internal storage, 5000mAh battery, and a 33W charging mechanism are some of the phone’s important characteristics. The Vivo Y53s’ increased RAM sets it apart from the competition. The Vivo Y53s is a good choice for Vivo fans and those looking for a lower-mid-range phone with mid-range performance.
