How to Use iOS Text Message Effects on Your iPhone?
In 2021, simply texting your buddies with no effects is so dull. Now is the moment to figure out how to give your iMessage conversations a fresh lease on life.
There are a few cool ways to add message effects to your texts in iMessage if you have an iPhone. What’s the best part? It’s really simple to do so. People who wish to sprinkle their texts, place them under a spotlight, or hide them under false invisible ink only need to follow a few simple steps.
First and foremost, you must type down what you want to convey. It’s impossible to apply effects to a message that doesn’t exist. That would be ridiculous. Because you can’t send a message to anyone, there must also be a valid recipient. Once that’s done, press and hold the send button. This will allow you to use iOS message effects without having to send the message.
Bingo. Before you send the message you just typed, you can now apply effects to it. The first set of options you’ll see is to add bubble effects to the message, which is the default. These will change the appearance of the message bubble in a fun way. They’re not as powerful as the other types of message effects we’ll discuss later, but there are times when it’s necessary to make your text slam into view or hide its meaning behind invisible ink.
To see the next set of options, tap “Screen” instead of “Bubble” beneath the words “Send with effect” at the top of this screen. Screen effects, as the name implies, fill the entire screen and are generally more flashy. You can make a bunch of balloons appear behind a happy birthday message, highlight an important statement, or congratulate someone with celebratory confetti. Swipe left and right to see all of the options available before deciding on one.
Push the send button once you’ve added the right amount of zing to your text message. Your family member loved one, landlord, or food delivery person will undoubtedly appreciate the new layer of personality you’ve added to that text. However, if you do this too often, you may find yourself in hot water for being obnoxious.
