Hardware: Why Razer Gaming Laptops Are about to Get More Expensive

Video gamers, and especially esports gamers, are often seduced by slick hardware that makes their gameplay smooth. Yet, the prices for such hardware may be going up Razer, a manufacturer of some of the leading gaming gear especially gaming laptops   in the world, argues via a tweet. As interest in esports (and gaming) intensifies, so do shortages for GPUs resurface.

This is not “game over” for gaming, naturally, but it’s a good reminder that while we can always hop to GGBet review to find what markets are worth betting on, the cost of gaming is already inching up. Is there a way out? There surely seems to be, but in 2022, gamers may need to brace for slightly higher prices, and that’s okay.

Better Chips Set to Cost More Money

Esports players will probably not feel it, but for those of us seeking to optimize our gameplay and take it to the next level, a slightly more costly Razer gaming laptop will definitely show on the bottom line. So, what are our options? In reality, Razer already has many top-of-the-line models that are worth purchasing.

Buying these to guarantee our smooth esports and non-competitive gaming is a great start. The RTX-series are bound to go up in value as well, but the good news is that snaffling up a Christmas promotion right now will have you set up with a slick gaming laptop for 2022 and beyond.

As chip shortages continue, it’s not very likely that there will be an immediate solution to the issue. Taiwan has been the main exporter of super semiconductors and the country is doing its best. Razer, in the meantime, is not the only one who may be looking at the price increase. Even budget manufacturers such as Acer have cautioned that this may be coming.

However, this is not game over for gaming. Esports players and their fans are a very adaptive lot, and we know that even if some of the gear would get pricier, that would hardly stop us from enjoying video gaming. As a matter of fact, focusing on Razer’s 2020 and 2021 models may be really good for our budget when we think about it. After all, esports is not power-hungry, they just need a decent laptop to purr.
