The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) recent report on a glimpse of a Mars crater has gone viral. The internet went crazy after NASA’s official Instagram account shared an image of a Martian crater acquired by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter’s High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE).
The post went out to describe the spotting in-depth and even suggested another crater at the bottom of the rocky basin. As a result, several users mistook the crater for confirmation of an “alien footprint,” and many even commented on their thoughts below the Instagram image. Examine It Out!
