Shah Rukh Khan teased the launch of his OTT platform on Tuesday, prompting congratulatory responses from industry colleagues and collaborators. Shah Rukh came to Twitter to release a flyer with the message “SRK+, coming soon.”
However, Shah Rukh and his production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, have yet to clarify if SRK+ is his new OTT app. The 56-year-old actor, who hasn’t seen on screen since his 2018 film Zero, captioned the photo, “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein (Something is going to happen in the world of OTT).”
Salman congratulated Shah Rukh and shared his post. “Aaj ki party teri taraf se @iamsrk. Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+,” the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star wrote.
Anurag Kashyap, a filmmaker, announced on Twitter that he was working with the superstar on a new OTT app.
“Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+,” he wrote. Karan Johar, Shah Rukh’s collaborator and friend, complimented him on the new app as well.

“The most important news of the year!” This is going to change the face of OTT, @iamsrk. “I’m ecstatic!!!” With Bard of Blood (review) and Betaal (review), both Netflix programs, Shah Rukh had dabbled in the digital streaming sector as a producer. His production company supported the projects.
Shah Rukh will next be seen in Pathaan, which will be released on January 25, 2023. The spy thriller is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand, who also helmed War and Bang Bang.
