After his outstanding performance in the Mohali Test against Sri Lanka, India’s Ravindra Jadeja has risen to the top of the ICC’s Test rankings for all-rounders. Jadeja batted undefeated for 175 runs and then grabbed nine wickets to help India win. Thne accomplishment has allowed him to overtake Jason Holder of the West Indies, who had held the top rank since February 2021.
In August 2017, Ravindra Jadeja had previously held the top spot in the all-rounders rankings for a week.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin, who bowled an all-rounder in the Mohali Test, is in third place behind Holder. Ashwin and Jadeja embarked on a 130-run stand, which was India’s best partnership of the innings.
