Elon Musk has a Disturbing Question about Twitter
Elon Musk, CEO of high-end electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla recently stated that he purchased slightly more than 9% of Twitter. With this position, he becomes the largest stakeholder of the social network on which he is quite engaged.
The billionaire does, in fact, communicate on Twitter about the news of his numerous firms, whether Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company, or Neuralink. He also frequently settles scores with his enemies and interacts with his legions of supporters on the platform.
Twitter is an important communication tool for Musk since it allows him to interact directly with the general population without the media’s filter. It is also free advertising for him and his companies. Tesla, for example, spends no money on marketing or promotion.
Musk Wants Significant Changes
The software entrepreneur, who has more than 81 million Twitter followers, doesn’t see the sense in paying for advertising when he can reach tens of millions of people worldwide with a tweet. Thus, Twitter aided in the development of Musk’s brand, which now extends beyond the confines of Silicon Valley and the automobile and space industries. The social media platform has enabled the entrepreneur to project an image as a disruptor and visionary.
But Musk, who wants to save the globe from pollution, sees things differently. By purchasing a stake in Twitter, he agreed with management not to expand his position above 14.9 percent before 2024. In exchange, he was appointed to the board of directors. a body that validates a company’s plan and wields considerable authority over the CEO
He decided to utilize his position to fight for major reforms at Twitter.
“I’m excited to work with Parag and the Twitter board to create big enhancements to Twitter in the coming months!” Musk made the remark on Twitter on April 5, referring to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal.
It now appears that these changes will be radical, as Musk has just asked a question that will shake not only Twitter’s leaders, but also its staff.
“Is Twitter Dying?”
“Most of these “top” accounts tweet infrequently and post very little substance,” the world’s wealthiest man tweeted on April 9. Then he asked the question that everyone is talking about.
“Is Twitter Dying?” Musk wondered.
Most of these “top” accounts tweet rarely and post very little content.

He went on:
“For example, @taylorswift13 hasn’t posted anything in 3 months.”
