“We’re also working on a new vehicle,” Musk added during the most recent earnings call, “that I referred to at the Giga Texas opening, which is a dedicated robotaxi that’s highly tuned for autonomy, meaning it wouldn’t have [a] steering wheel or pedals.”

Elon Musk calculated that riding a Tesla robotaxi car would be less expensive than using a subsidized bus. By 2024, Tesla hopes to have mass production of its dedicated robotaxi car. The new robotaxi vehicle will be unveiled sometime next year, according to the business.
Musk believes that the robotaxi fleet will be a major driver of Tesla’s future growth. He isn’t the only one who thinks this way. Ark Invest experts, including CEO Cathie Wood, had been predicting that Tesla’s robotaxi fleet would boost the company’s worth for some time.
Tesla’s robotaxi fleet, according to Ark, could earn $486 billion in yearly income by 2026. Tesla’s robotaxi business, according to the investment management firm, could contribute 60% of the company’s estimated value. If Tesla is successful in launching its robotaxi fleet, Ark estimates that TSLA shares will be worth $4,600 by 2026.
The introduction of the robotaxi fleet will be contingent on Tesla’s FSD software development. Due to the lack of a steering wheel or pedals on the robotaxi car, FSD will need to be fully tuned and able to drive on most roads by the time Tesla releases the product.
