Russian Bombardment Destroyed Dnipro Airport, Ukraine Claims
On the 46th day of the battle, the airport in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro was completely destroyed by Russian bombardment, according to a local official.
“Another attack on Dnipro airport has occurred. It is now completely defunct. The airport and its surrounding infrastructure have been destroyed.

The one-million-person industrial metropolis has been targeted by Russian forces since the Russian invasion but has so far escaped severe harm.
Earlier in the day, two people were killed and several more were injured in Russian shelling on Derhachy town in Kharkiv’s northeastern district, according to the local governor.
For the 46th day in a row, the fighting between the two forces continues. The Russian military has increased its use of weaponry in the war-torn country’s east. So far, the battle has leveled cities and killed hundreds of people, while economically and diplomatically isolating Moscow.
According to the Associated Press, a full-fledged onslaught in the east might begin within days, however, doubts remained about Russia’s depleted and demoralized forces’ ability to win much ground after Ukraine’s inspired defenders resisted their effort to grab the capital, Kyiv.
The Russians also maintained their siege on Mariupol, a vital southern port that has been attacked and surrounded for about a month.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy requested increased military and political support from the West, particularly NATO allies that have poured weaponry and military equipment into Ukraine since Russia’s invasion but declined some demands out of concern of becoming embroiled in the conflict.
