It is the official language of India and functions as a lingua franca in a number of different regions throughout the country. Around the 7th century, it was derived from the Sanskrit language and was written using the Devanagari script. Sanskrit was the original language.

It serves as a lingua franca in many different regions of the world and is the official language of a number of countries in the Arab world. It is written in Arabic script, and its roots may be traced back to the northwestern part of the Arabian Peninsula.

8. Russian

The eighth most common language on the planet, with more than 150 million people able to communicate well in it. It is a descendant of old east Slavic and was used as the official language of Kievan Rus, which was written using the Cyrillic script.

9. Japanese

With more than 130 million speakers, this is the tenth most widely spoken language on the earth. It serves as a global language of communication and is the official language of Japan. It was developed in the eighth century and uses a synthesis of three writing systems that are thought to be related to the Ural-Altaic family (Turkish, Mongolian, Manchu, and Korean).

The tenth most spoken language on the earth, with more than one hundred million native speakers. It is the official language of Germany and is also utilized in a significant number of other countries. The Alemannic language is thought to have been spoken first in the 6th century and is written using the Latin alphabet.
