Merry Christmas 2020: Christians Celebrate the Day Amid Pandemic
Christians across the world are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on Friday. Christians and non-Christians now both celebrate Christmas or Xmas due to the mythical and jolly figure of Santa Claus, who is much loved by the old and the young.
On this occasion, Christians attend Christmas Eve or Christmas Day church service. Also, they sing carols. They also involve fun, frolic, and merrymaking among people of various other faiths and communities during the festival as well. Decorating Christmas trees in the houses and observing rituals with friends and families are among the festivities Christians enjoy on the day.
They prepare various types of delicious items including turkey, pudding, pies and cake and other delicacies. People also exchange greetings marking the day and also the beginning of a new year.
But the day is being celebrated across the world on a limited scale this year because of Covid-19 pandemic.
