Audi, a German luxury car company, has added an electric mountain bike to its line of products. The e-bike is based on the XMF 1.7 model and is inspired by the company’s RS Q e-tron E2 electric Dakar Rally racer. Fantic, an Italian bike company, has made an electric mountain bike for Audi.

It has a 250-watt Brose motor and a 720-watt-hour battery, which give it a peak torque of 66 ft/lb. The power pack on the electric mountain bike is bigger than the one on the Bash/Mtn. It is said to have a range of between 48 and 152 km. On the other hand, Audi has not said its top speed.

The brand-new Audio e-bike has four different ways to use the electric motor. Among these are the Eco, Sport, Tour, and Boost modes. Aluminum is used to make the electric mountain bike. Aside from the engine and battery, it also uses parts from Porsche’s line of e-bikes.

Director of Audi UK Andrew Doyle stated, “The Audi electric mountain bike, created in collaboration with Fantic, is a terrific illustration of how we can offer our customers more than simply the award-winning automobiles they drive.

Audi’s e-bike has disc brakes made by Braking IN.CA.S., a fork and shock made by Ohlins, and parts made by Sram for the chain, shifters, and derailleur. The XMF 1.7 only has 6.7 inches of suspension travel, but the Ohlins gear has 7.1 inches. The Vittoria tires and Sella Italia saddle on the bike are both made in Italy.

In the UK, you can buy a special edition of the electric bike for as little as £8,499, which is about $8,38,000 in India. There will be three different sizes to choose from.
