Alia Bhatt has resumed shooting for Karan Johar’s next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which she co-stars with Ranveer Singh. A new round of behind-the-scenes images shows the crew having a great time on site. Churni Ganguly, an actress, posted a few images from the session on her Instagram.
“Simply elated to share the stage with legends like Dharmendra Ji, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, and of course, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, both exquisite actors and absolute sweethearts,” she wrote. “#rockyaurranikipremkahani, directed by none other than the immensely warm @karanjohar, coming to you with much lovey-dovey aplomb, in 2023!”

Alia and Ranveer’s second Bollywood new film together is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. They previously collaborated on Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy.
On April 14, Alia married her longtime boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor. The couple enjoyed two days of low-key, private wedding celebrations at their Mumbai home. They afterward threw a party for their film business pals. Alia has now released a few images from the wedding celebrations on social media. Karan Johar, who attended the wedding as a guest, revealed that while dancing, he accidentally rubbed Mehendi on his forehead.
In addition to Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Alia’s next flicks include Brahmastra, in which she will co-star with husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Naga Chaitanya, will hit theaters in September. On the occasion of Alia and Ranbir’s wedding, director Ayan Mukerji had already published a few images from the film. Darlings, her home production, will also include her.
