Apple has announced that it will open its first retail location in India, which will be dubbed Apple BKC. It’s finally happening after many years of discussions about Apple building its own retail location in India.
The barricade of Apple’s first retail location in India was unveiled at Jio World Drive Mall in Mumbai, formally announcing the arrival of Apple BKC.
The classic Bombay taxi art known as Kaali Peeli served as inspiration for the Apple store in BKC. The artwork features vivid renditions of the decals along with a variety of Apple goods and services that will be accessible to visitors. The store’s marketing material greets passersby in a cheerful manner with the iconic “Hello Mumbai” from Apple.
Apple fans can download the new Apple BKC wallpaper and listen to a special playlist on Apple Music to commemorate the inauguration of the company’s first shop in India.
A second retail location for Apple is apparently planned for New Delhi once the BKC location opens to the public in April.
