Google Cloud is joining the Kuwaiti market now that the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) has given its approval for Google Cloud computing services company to become a separate company.

The ‘One Person Company’ business plan will be used by the company, which is owned by Google Europe, Middle East, and Africa Unlimited Company.

The company has a total stock of KD 600,000 and provides services like cloud computing, data processing, web hosting, and more.

Early this year, Google Cloud and the Kuwaiti government announced that they would work together to create a digital transformation plan for all government agencies and key state-owned businesses that would use Google Cloud’s technology.

The government will also be able to learn more about data analytics, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI) thanks to the partnership.

As part of the agreement, Google Cloud will work with the government to digitize services for citizens and improve the efficiency of government workers.
