1. Ric Flair

You’ve undoubtedly heard of Ric Flair if you’re a WWE fan. Ric Flair is one of WWE’s most famous names, having had a four-decade career. His reputation is profoundly embedded in WWE history, with over 16 world championship reigns. Unfortunately, the death of his son from a heroin overdose in 2013 significantly impacted his personal life. Fortunately, Ric Flair has recovered and is now a professional wrestling manager.

2. Jimmy Snuka

Jimmy Snuka was a veteran wrestler primarily active in the 1980s and 1990s. He created the legendary Superfly Splash maneuver and had a stellar wrestling career. Unfortunately, his life worsened when he was accused of murdering Nancy Argentino, his fiancée. He pled not guilty throughout the trial, and the allegations were eventually dropped. However, he passed away shortly after that at age 73.

3. Dean Malenko

Dean Malenko shot to fame after winning and performing at the ECW. Despite having a high victory percentage and several titles, he never became a world champion. After retiring, he worked as a road agent for WWE until joining All Elite Wrestling as a senior producer in 2019. Despite suffering a heart attack in 2010, he swiftly healed and returned to the ring. He resides with his wife, Julie Hittinger, and their three children.

4. The Rock

The Rock, also known as Dwayne Douglas Johnson, is among the finest living wrestlers. As a memorial to his father and grandfather, who were also wrestling legends, he began his career by using the name Rocky Maivia. Through perseverance and hard work, the Rock ascended the WWE ladder and became synonymous with success.

In 2019, he retired from professional wrestling and is now a successful actor and entertainer. Michael Francis is better known as Mick Foley, despite having several aliases. His wrestling career spanned three decades and was packed with memorable events and victories. On the other hand, Michael Francis opted to abandon wrestling in 2012 to pursue a career in acting. As a result, he appeared in many films, television shows, and even radio shows. He now spends most of his time doing charity work for children while caring for his four children.

7. Randy Orton

For many admirers, Randy Keith Orton is a wrestling legend whose past controversies and personal life once made headlines. Specifically, he was caught using steroids in 2007, despite his efforts to remain silent. Furthermore, he and his ex-wife Samantha Speno divorced in 2013.

In 2015, Randy Orton married Kimberly Kessler, and it appears he has been gradually bringing his personal life back together. Although he is still an active wrestler, he has also appeared in television programs such as Deal or No Deal, and That’s What I Am.

8. The Undertaker

Mark William Calaway, also known as the Undertaker, is still feared despite winning 17 championships. He is 56 years old and has an imposing physique and intimidating aura. Fighting With My Family, a biographical comedy-drama series based on her own family, starred her. While her personal life has had its ups and downs, she is presently in a relationship with Ronnie Radke, the lead vocalist of Falling in Reverse.

10. Big Show

Big Show has been a WWE household name since he began his career over 21 years ago. Initially introduced as Andre, the Giant’s son, he rapidly assumed the Big Show persona. So, what is he up to these days? Big Show dabbled in acting in addition to wrestling. One of his most notable roles was as Walter Krunk in the 2010 comedy Knucklehead. However, he swiftly returned to wrestling and is now a member of All Elite Wrestling.

11. Kelly Kelly

Fans of WWE call her Kelly Kelly, but her real name is Barbara Jean Blank. In 2012, she chose to leave WWE. Still, her TV and modeling jobs kept her in the public eye. Days of Our Lives and WAGS were where she was most known for her work. 12. Batista

David Michael Bautista Jr. is a WWE veteran recognizable to both wrestling and film aficionados. Due to his expertise in mixed martial arts, Batista amassed a total of 249 victories. In addition to being a wrestler and bodybuilder, Batista is also an accomplished and talented actor. With films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Riddick under his belt, it’s safe to say that he has a lengthy and prosperous career ahead of him.

13. Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is arguably the most renowned wrestler in history due to his influence on the evolution of the sport. Even though he no longer wrestles, Hulk Hogan remains as ubiquitous as ever. 14. Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler retired from WWE in 2006, but her acting career kept her in the public eye. She has appeared in the television series What About Brian, How I Met Your Mother, and George Lopes. In 2013, she also hosted Supermarket Superstar, which propelled her into the mainstream media.

However, Stacy Keibler never forgot her WWE roots, as she appeared as a Tough Enough reality program guest. Her personal life is also flourishing, as she has three beautiful children with her 2014-married spouse, Jared Pobre.

15. Owen Hart

Her wrestling career, however, was far from done, as she went on to work as a trainer, producer, pundit, and even an occasional combatant.

17. Lex Luger

Lex Luger is undoubtedly one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. He has won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the US Championship. 18. Trish Stratus

Patricia Anne Strategies, also known as Trish Stratus, was one of the youngest wrestlers inducted into the Hall of Fame. She is also an actress, fitness model, and TV personality, in addition to being a wrestler. Today, she operates her own yoga studio, recognized by Top Choice Awards as the Best Yoga Studio. And although her wrestling career has ended, she occasionally appears on WWE programs.

19. Sid Vicious

Vicious, also known as Sid Eudy, debuted in 1989 when he signed with World Championship Wrestling. During his flourishing career, he joined both WWE and WWF and earned multiple championship belts. While he retired in 2001 due to an injury, he returned shortly after that for a couple of years. However, in 2017, after defeating Paul Rosenberg, he ultimately retired.

20. Jacqueline Moore

After capturing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, Jaqueline Moore, a semi-retired wrestling legend, made headlines. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 and is considered one of the finest female superstars in WWE history.

21. Jeff Hardy

23. Edge

Edge, Adam Joseph Copeland, is one of the greatest wrestlers alive, having won 31 championships. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 and will return to the ring in 2020. 24. The Ultimate Warrior

James Brian Hellwig, also known as the Ultimate Warrior and Dingo Warrior, was a wrestling veteran who began his career in 1985. The controversy surrounding his frequent retirement and return makes him attractive. People thought he died during his 1991 absence and that another wrestler was competing in his place. Even though those allegations were false, he died in 2014 from a heart attack.

25. Alundra Blayze

Debrah Ann Miceli, also known as Alundra Blayze or Medusa, made her début in 1986 and quickly became synonymous with female wrestling. 1988 Pro Wrestling Illustrated named her the Rookie of the Year, making her the first woman to hold the title. In 2015, she returned to the wrestling arena and is currently an active member of WWE. However, she is also an accomplished actress, appearing in films such as Shootfighter 2 and Death Match.

26. Triple H

Few wrestlers have had as successful a career as Paul Michael Levesque, alias Triple H, HHH, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

Since making his WWF début in 1996, Levesque has won 14 world titles and helped usher in the Attitude Era as a member of the D-Generation X faction alongside Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Rick Rude.

27. Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit was a well-known wrestler with 22 titles across WWE, WCW, NJW, and ECW. Unfortunately, he is remembered primarily for his brutal assassination. On June 22, 2007, Christopher Benoit murdered his wife and child. Then, he hanged himself to death.

Consequently, WWE removed all references to him and his statistics from its website. The most widely accepted explanation for why he did it is that he suffered a brain injury from wrestling, although there is still considerable debate regarding his motivation.

28. Tugboat

Fred Ottman, also known as Tugboat, is an icon in wrestling. Formerly Hulk Hogan’s ally, he betrayed him and joined the Natural Disasters. At that time, he earned the appellation Typhoon.

He decided to resign from wrestling in 2001 and become a safety manager. He also continued to coach his son’s and daughter’s little league teams. And even though his net worth is unknown, we are confident that Fred Ottman is living comfortably in retirement.

29. Debra

Debra Marshall, also known as Queen Debra, made her début in wrestling in 1995 at World Championship Wrestling. After a few years, she contracted with the WWF and won the WWF Women’s Championship. Since 2003, when she claimed that her spouse, Steve Austin, assaulted her, she has not appeared in WWE. 30. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin is widely recognized as one of the most talented and influential wrestlers ever. He is a numerous championship winner, including the WWF Championship and the WWF Intercontinental Championship. He retired from wrestling in 2003 owing to various injuries. He now mostly focuses on his acting career, with occasional appearances at WWE/WWF events.

31. Kane

Do you recognize the name, Glenn Thomas Jacobs? If not, Kane will certainly be recognizable. He is a legendary wrestler who is still active and occasionally performs for Smackdown. In addition to wrestling, he became an actor, merchant, and even politician.

He was elected mayor of Knox County in 2018, representing his most significant political accomplishment. He also declared that he would seek reelection for a second term, so you’ll be hearing and seeing more of Kane shortly.

32. Scotty 2 Hotty

Professional wrestler Scott Ronald Garland previously held the WWF World Tag Team Championship and the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Jonathan Coachman, the Coach, is a fan favorite among many WWE fans due to his attitude and ability. Even though his wrestling career ended in 2008, he is still a WWE household name. He is a Raw commentator and signed with WWE again in 2018 for part-time appearances and hosting. In his personal life, the Coach is married to Amy Coachman and has two children.

34. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels is a WWE ambassador and four-time world champion. He does, however, work as a TV presenter and actor. He presents Shawn Michaels’ MacMillan River Adventures, a hunting show. His personal life is also flourishing; he has been married to Rebecca Curci since 1999, and they have two lovely children.

35. Rey Mysterio

36. Mr. McMahon

Vincent McMahon, the current chairman and chief executive officer of WWE, is arguably the most recognizable member of the WWE family. Even though he no longer fights actively, his Mr. McMahon persona made him famous among wrestling aficionados.

In addition to his wrestling endeavors, he is the proprietor of Alpha Entertainment, a successful sports and entertainment company. Vincent McMahon is also an accomplished actor and film producer. Due to his business and entertainment endeavors, he is now one of the wealthiest WWE personalities with a staggering $2 billion net worth.

37. Rowdy Roddy Piper 

Rowdy Roddy Piper has been a professional wrestler for thirty years, winning multiple titles. His induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 signified his return to WWE. The following year, however, he disclosed that he was afflicted with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. And despite fighting the disease for almost a decade, he succumbed to cardiac arrest in 2015 and perished.

38. Booker T

Which WWE devotee is unaware of Booker T, winner of six world championships and twenty-one other titles? He is one of the most successful wrestlers ever, as his current net worth exceeds $6 million. Despite this, he quit wrestling to become a commentator and promoter. His brother was also inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.

In addition, he has published two novels and has appeared in over 27 video games and films. Booker T has been married for nearly ten years and is the father of three children; it is fair to say he is living the dream.

39. Skinner

Steve Skinner Keirn is a retired professional wrestler who was a member of the Fabulous Team and has been in the WWF multiple times. While he no longer wrestles, he now runs his own wrestling school. And, despite being 69 years old, he can still coach young individuals who wish to attempt wrestling.

40. Kurt Angle

Although Kurt Angle began wrestling in college, he did not turn professional until the late 1990s. While he had always opposed professional wrestling, he eventually altered his mind and signed a contract with WWF. Kurt Angle is one of the most accomplished wrestlers, with multiple victories and titles like the WCW Championship and WWE Championship.

Yet, his personal life suffered in 2015 when he was hospitalized. Fortunately, physicians were able to remove a benign tumor from his neck, and he made a full recovery. Due to health concerns, Kurt Angle ultimately retired from wrestling in 2020.

41. Chris Jericho

Like many veteran wrestlers, Chris Jericho began his career in the 1990s. 2019 he settled with All Elite Wrestling after bouncing between organizations such as WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling throughout his tenure.

However, he captured the World Heavyweight Championship thrice during his WWE years. Chris Jericho’s popularity has never waned, and he is now a worldwide wrestling fan favorite.

42. Stephanie McMahon

While most wrestlers have stable and prosperous careers, others, such as One Man Gang, are not so fortunate. One Man Gang, born George Gray, was a professional wrestler for approximately forty years. However, he retired and became a jail guard, but this was only a temporary position because his severe back problems stopped him from working.

Unfortunately, his house was entirely destroyed by the Louisiana floods in 2016. George Gray attempted to gather funds through GoFundMe, but his target was not met. He is now striving to get his life back on track and overcome the difficulties.

44. Hardcore Holly

Hardcore Holly is a professional wrestler who spent sixteen years in WWE and WWF during his tenure. During his prime, he was among the most feared opponents due to his eccentric personality and fighting technique. Even though he is not as popular as he once, he remains prosperous and charming.

45. John Nord

John Nord began wrestling in the mid-1980s and made his début at the World Class Championship. Despite having multiple nicknames throughout his career, he chose to go by his actual name. In 2002, he retired from wrestling to live an everyday and peaceful existence.

However, he has been confined to a wheelchair due to his diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Doctors have determined that he will spend the remainder of his life in assisted living facilities.

46. Big Van Vader

Big Van Vader was a prominent wrestler who competed in the WCW, WWF, and NJPW super heavyweight divisions. 47. Jake The Snake Roberts

While he has retired from wrestling, he recently signed a two-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling, bringing him back into the public eye.

In his personal life, Jake Roberts endured a variety of health problems, including muscular cancer. Thankfully, he recovered and is now in significantly improved health.

48. Diamond Dallas Page

Dallas Page, also known as Diamond Dallas Page or DDP, has had a lengthy and illustrious wrestling career.

After departing rival promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2001, DDP signed with the then-WWF and won European and World Tag Team titles.

After a succession of injuries, Page allowed his contract to expire, but between 2010 and 2015, he made some guest appearances on WWE programs.

49. The Hitman

After a lengthy and successful wrestling career, Bret Sergeant Hart decided to become a writer and actor. His efforts altered the public’s perception of wrestlers and the wrestling industry. He frequently appears in television programs like The Simpsons and video games like WWF Royal Rumble. And although he contended with prostate cancer, he ultimately defeated it and is currently cancer-free.

50. Kevin Nash

Unlike other wrestlers, Kevin Nash began his career in WWE but later transferred to WCW. He established his own organization, the New World Order, and won multiple titles and championships there. Despite his age, he occasionally appears on WWE programs. In recent years, he has appeared in movies and television programs such as Magic Mike and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

51. Tito Santana

Next, we look at Tito Santana, a wrestling veteran who rose to prominence in the 1970s. Throughout his career, he won numerous titles, including the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship and the Tag Team Championship. After retiring, he began teaching Spanish at Eisenhower Middle School and soon became the basketball coach.

52. Matt Cappotelli

Matt Cappotelli rose to prominence due to his WWE Tough Enough outings. Despite being a talented wrestler, his career suffered once he was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. And because the brain tumor continued to grow, he had to undergo a risky two-hour surgery. Sadly, despite partially successful surgery, he died in 2018 at 38.

53. Jimmy Wang Yang

Jimmy Wang Yang had one of the most varied and entertaining wrestling careers. He began wrestling in WCW before moving on to WWF and later WWE. He briefly competed in the Ring of Honor. While no longer active, he has made multiple guest appearances for WWE and TNA. He now owns a pest control firm, and a wrestling school called Pro Training.

54. Rip Rogers

Rip Rogers was a former professional wrestler who won the NWA Mid-American Heavyweight Championship. However, he lost most of his wealth and struggled to organize his life. Fortunately, he is presently the head coach of the Ohio Valley Wrestling team, and his life is gradually improving.

55. Billy Kidman

Rip Rogers was a former professional wrestler who won the NWA Mid-American Heavyweight Championship. However, he lost most of his wealth and struggled to organize his life. Fortunately, he is presently the head coach of the Ohio Valley Wrestling team, and his life is gradually improving.

56. Rick Steiner

Rick Steiner, also known as Robert Reichsteiner, debuted in WCW and soon realized he was a natural for Tag Team wrestling. Consequently, he won the World Tag Team Championship eight times, cementing his status as a Tag Team legend.

During his WWF career, he captured the World Tag Team Championship twice. While he retired in 2004 to pursue a career in real estate, he returned for multiple reunions and special events. Still, he is a real estate agent in the North Metro Atlanta region.

57. Mark Henry

Mark Henry was already a successful businessman when he began his wrestling career. In fact, as a powerlifter and weightlifter, he set numerous records. 58. Damien Sandow

59. Goldberg

Duke Droese is one of the list’s most intriguing wrestlers. Before a match, he carried a garbage can into the ring, which earned him the nickname Garbage Man. His humorous behavior made him a fan favorite, and he continued to climb the ranks. Since his retirement in 2019, he has acquired weight and appears somewhat out of shape compared to other retired wrestlers.

65. X-Pac

Sean Waltman, often known as X-Pac, rose to prominence in the 1990s. Despite having a long career, he kept his physique and skills. X-Pac is among the most successful wrestlers, having won numerous Cruiserweight and Tag Team Championships. He is currently on the WWE Legends program and spends most of his time in the gym.

66. Kamala

Kamala began his rise to prominence in the 1980s and became an instant fan favorite due to his distinctive fashion. He always entered the ring wearing face paint and carrying a shield and weapon. Unfortunately, in 1992 he was diagnosed with diabetes but refused treatment. As a consequence of complications, he lost both legs and is now unable to compete.

67. Joey Mercury

Joey Mercury has undergone a radical transformation recently and is almost unrecognizable. He no longer wears his signature tresses and eccentric attire. Instead, he has shaved his cranium and now wears formal primary attire. While he avoided the ring, he served as a producer for Ring of Honor until the end of 2019.

68. Mideon

Dennis Knight, commonly known as Mideon or Tax Slazenger, has announced his retirement from wrestling after a nearly two-decade career. He is now a well-known chef in Clearwater, Florida, and spends most of his time living an everyday life. So, if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by Mideon!

69. Adam Rose

Adam Rose entered the wrestling arena at the age of 15 in 1995. Despite his considerable success, in 2010, he joined WWE under the ring name Leo Kruger. However, his fame was cut short when he was suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy and charged with domestic battery. On June 14, 2019, he decided to resign from wrestling permanently.

70. Dynamite Kid

Tom Billington, also known as the Dynamite Kid, was among the most renowned wrestlers of the 1990s. However, everything altered in 1996 when he was forced to retire due to health issues. Even worse, in 2013, he suffered a severe stroke that rendered him permanently disabled. His suffering ended in 2018 when he passed away on his 60th birthday.

71. The Russian Bear

Ivan Koloff was a well-known wrestler who competed in the WWWF in the 1960s. He even won the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship, cementing his place in wrestling history. The Russian Bear wrote two books and became an ordained preacher after retiring in 2013. However, he died in 2017 at 74 from liver cancer.

72. Brutus Beefcake

While Brutus Beefcake was a famous wrestler in the late 1990s, he could not replicate his success in other fields. As a result, he found it difficult to rekindle the spark that made him renowned in the first palace. He now works for the public transportation system and is out of shape.

73. Harvey Wippleman

Bruno Lauer, also known as Harvey Wippleman, is a professional wrestler well-known for his victories over Big Bully Busick and Giant Gonzales. Following his successful wrestling career, he pursued a management position with WWE. While he labored to reach his objective, he ultimately became a manager and, as a result, a road agent.

74. Molly Holly

Molly Holly is another legendary female wrestler who dominated the WWF and WWE throughout her career. Due to her accomplishments, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Although not officially retired, she no longer wrestles as frequently as she once did. She is the chief coach at The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling.

75. Brian Crush Adams

After competing in WWF and WCW, Brian Crush Adams rapidly rose to fame. During his nearly two-decade-long career, he won numerous awards and championships. Due to his injuries, he could not return to the boxing arena after his retirement. In 2007, at 43, he succumbed to respiratory failure.

76. Beulah McGillicutty

Beulah McGillicutty wrestled for twenty years, and she had a tough time of it. She quit her job in 2009 and started writing full-time. Beulah spends most of her time with her family now since she and Tommy Dreamer have two kids.

77. Perry Saturn

Perry Satullo, also known as Perry Saturn, served in the United States Army before entering the wrestling industry. However, his career did not last very long, and he was eventually forced to pursue a new path. He suffers from a brain injury, a lack of stability, and daily migraines due to his wrestling career. He is rumored to be destitute and addicted to multiple illegal substances.

78. Rico

Beginning in 1997, Rico Constantino had a successful wrestling career. He gained notoriety for a Smackdown episode in which he landed a villain role that he used throughout his career. In 2004, Rico retired and enrolled in the Police Academy. And although he briefly worked in law enforcement, he is now a wrestling manager.

79. The Honky Tonk Man

Professional wrestler Wayne Farris is the cousin of retired commentator and former wrestler Jerry Lawler. In 2019, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame because his career is replete with numerous accomplishments. And despite his retirement, he still routinely visits the gym and maintains his impressive physique.

80. Glacier

Raymond Lloyd, or as his admirers call him, Glacier, has become famous due to his distinctive attire and fashion sense. His entire wrestling persona was a reference to the character Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. Glacier pursued an acting career after his retirement, albeit without much success. Now, he works for a Florida-based marketing firm and raises cancer awareness in his spare time.

81. Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock previously competed in WWF and TNA but found tremendous success in mixed martial arts. He frequently switched between the two, frequently reverting to wrestling. After becoming the first individual to win the UFC Superfight Championship, he became a household name in mixed martial arts. Although he became well-known due to WWE Tough Enough, he did not accomplish much in WWE. Consequently, he retired from wrestling relatively early and began working as a bouncer in New York City venues. 87. Giant Kurgan

Despite his popularity as an actor, Robert Maillet was also a professional wrestler until his retirement in 2005. His prominent roles include Slugo in Deadpool 2 and Uber Immortal in 300. With more films on the way, it’s safe to say we’ll see a lot more of Robert Maillet in the coming years.

Virgil’s wrestling career had ups and downs, so he retired in 2010. He struggled with his funds and attempted to create a GoFundMe campaign. Unfortunately, he did not meet the donation goal and had to rely on other sources of income, such as teaching.

Trevor Murdoch, one of the most comedic WWE wrestlers, is the final combatant to be discussed. Due to his distinct personality and humorous antics, he rose to fame. 90. Chyna

Following his exit from WWE, Laurer fell on hard times. The normally virtuous wrestler struggled with substance addiction, mental health issues, and uncharacteristic lifestyle decisions.

Her downward spiral ended tragically in 2016 when she was discovered deceased in her California home. Her death was attributed to an overdose of alcohol and anti-anxiety medication, as revealed by a postmortem.

WWE announced in 2019 that she would be inducted as a member of D-Generation X into the Hall of Fame.
