According to Indian media reports, veteran Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has reportedly been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.
The renowned actor will reportedly leave for the US for treatment soon, according to the Hindustan Times.
Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after complaining of breathlessness and chest discomfort on August 8. He tested negative for Covid-19. He was discharged on August 10.
The 61-year-old actor then posted in Instagram and Twitter on Tuesday that he would take a break from work for a “medical treatment”. He has written in his Instagram post:
“Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”
