Samsung Galaxy M54: Every Detail You Need to Know

Samsung galaxy m54

Listen to the Podcast:

The Samsung Galaxy M54, Samsung’s newest budget smartphone, was recently unveiled in the Middle Eastern markets.

In case you didn’t know, Samsung’s M series of smartphones is the more affordable option for your A series. In this case, the Samsung M54 is the economic equivalent of the Galaxy A54, which was just released. The two phones share the same chipset and design language (an obituary for the Galaxy S23).

This article discusses everything you need about the new Samsung Galaxy M54.

Samsung Galaxy M54: Prices and Availability

Samsung has quietly released the phone in the Middle East, with no accompanying press event or announcement.

The Samsung Galaxy M54 is officially found on the Samsung Palestine and Samsung Levant websites. We will have to wait until Samsung announces the cost of the Galaxy M54.

Samsung Galaxy M54 will be released officially on April 11, 2023.

In contrast, the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy M53’s previous prices suggest that the Galaxy A54 will be more reasonably priced, perhaps at the Galaxy A34. Let’s wait for the phone’s global release to learn more about its price and availability.

Samsung Galaxy M54: Key Features and Specifications

Samsung seems to be happy with the way the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is designed. Samsung Galaxy M54 also has the same design for the camera ring that we’ve seen on other Samsung phones recently. But Galaxy M54 doesn’t have round corners like Galaxy A54 or A34. The Samsung logo is the only other thing on the back of the phone beside the camera set. The phone has a cheap design, not a high-end one. It has a backrest made of plastic and a frame made of plastic. You can get the phone in either dark blue or silver.

When you face the phone forward, you’ll see a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz rate. It has a much bigger screen than the Galaxy A54, and since it might cost less, it would be a lower panel. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and the fingerprint scanner isn’t built into the screen itself but into the power button.

Samsung Exynos 1380 SoC works with Samsung Galaxy M54. This chipset has already been seen on the Galaxy A54. It is a fairly powerful mid-range chipset, similar to the SoC Snapdragon 778G and the Mediatek Dimension 1080.

Galaxy M54 has three cameras, all set up very well. The main camera has a 108MP sensor that can be used with OIS. Then there is an 8MP sensor with a wide angle and a 2MP sensor for close-up shots. The front of the phone has a 32MP camera. Compared to the Galaxy A54, the camera is a big deal. The Galaxy A54 has the same 50MP sensor as the Galaxy S23 and much better secondary sensors. But since the price was lower than we thought, we can’t complain too much.

The phone has a 25W fast charge and a 6,000 mAh battery. This phone’s 6,000 mAh battery should stand out to many who buy it since it will last longer than the competition, whose batteries are only about 5,000 mAh.

Unlike the Galaxy A series, the M series has no IP rating. This means that the Galaxy M54 is not protected from dust or water. But the phone is ready to use with a user interface 5.1 based on Android 13.
