Best Movies and New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023

Here we bring for you the new shows and movies in New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023 Schedule:

Beast (Feb-7)

New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023

We’ll let you off the hook if you haven’t seen the movie where Idris Elba fights a lion yet, because we know you would have seen it as soon as you heard about it. It’s a great movie about a man who has to protect his daughters from a strangely violent stray cat while they’re on vacation in South Africa. He plays a man who has to keep his daughters safe from the cat. The story doesn’t matter as much as the show, which is built around Elba literally fighting the huge creature to find out who is the top predator.

It never winks at the camera. Instead, it takes itself very seriously, which is almost a breath of fresh air in a movie world full of boring quirks. Beast doesn’t quite bite as hard as one would hope, and the special effects aren’t always great, but Elba’s completely committed performance is enough to make the whole thing better. It is one of the best action movies among New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023.

Somebody I Used to Know (Feb-10)

Somebody I Used to Know is a romantic comedy-drama that will be shown for the first time on Prime Video this month, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The movie is about a workaholic TV producer named Ally (Alison Brie) who has a big setback at work that makes her want to go back to her hometown.

There, she spends a crazy night with Sean (Jay Ellis), her first love, talking about the past. This makes her question the choices she has made in her life and the person she has become. She is even more confused when she finds out that Sean is engaged and that the woman he is about to marry, Kiersey Clemons, reminds Ally of herself when she was confident and creative. Find out how this movie by Dave Franco turns out by watching it as soon as it comes out on Prime Video in February New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023.

A Simple Favor (Feb-19)

We don’t know if you’ve seen A Simple Favor yet, but if you haven’t, now is the best time to do so. Anna Kendrick does a great job as Stephanie, a single mother, and the movie follows her as she gets caught up in a mystery involving her new friend Emily (Blake Lively), who goes missing one day.

Without giving anything away, it is a movie that is hard to put into a single category because it has long jokes about incest that are only the beginning. Just when you think you know what it’s about, it turns everything on its head and goes deeper into a dark absurdity that is as interesting as it is silly. Because of that one of the best movies on New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023.

Best New Series on Amazon Prime Video

Harlem Season 2 (Feb-3)

Harlem Season 2

Even though it looks bad from the outside, Harlem is becoming one of our favorite places. The comedy show is about “four stylish and ambitious best friends” who live in the center of Black culture in the United States. The show is like a mix of Sex and the City and Dear White People. It’s about Camille, who might be the most annoying character on TV. After messing up her career and her love life, she has to figure out how to put things back together. In the meantime, her friends are struggling with self-discovery, the future, and their dreams of living in a big city.

Carnival Row Season 2 (Feb-23)

Carnival Row Season 2

In the Carnival Row season 2 of the fantasy show, former inspector Rycroft Philostrate, also known as Philo (Orlando Bloom), is looking into a series of brutal murders that are making people angry. Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) and the Black Raven plan to get even with The Burgue’s human leaders, Jonah Breakspear (Arty Froushan) and Sophie Longerbane, for the unfair way they have treated them (Caroline Ford).

Tourmaline Larou, played by Karla Crome, gets supernatural powers that put her life and the future of The Row in danger. And after Imogen Spurnrose (Tamzin Merchant) and her partner Agreus Astrayon (David Gyasi) escape The Burgue and her vengeful brother Ezra (Andrew Gower), they find themselves in a very different society that throws off their plans. Humans and fae people are at odds with each other, and freedom are at stake. In the epic conclusion of Carnival Row, each hero will face impossible choices and tests of the soul.

The Consultant (Feb-24)

The Consultant

Oh, baby, this really does look great. Christoph Waltz, who has won two Academy Awards, is Tarantino’s favorite anti-hero. The Consultant is a brutal and bloody thriller that will make you laugh in an awkward way. The new series is based on Bentley Little’s 2015 book of the same name.

It looks at a dangerous relationship between a boss and an employee. When a new consultant, Regus Patoff, played by Christoph Waltz, is hired to help the App-based gaming company CompWare do better business, the employees face new demands and problems that put everything, even their lives, into question.  This movie has been ranked among the list of New Shows on Amazon Prime in February 2023.

Coming to Amazon Prime Video just in time for WorldPride, comedian Rhys Nicholson opens up a whole new world. Urzila Carlson, Geraldine Hickey, Cassie Workman, and Chris Parker are some of the LGBTQIA+ comedy stars who are in the new stand-up special. It was taped at Sydney’s famous Enmore Theatre.
