Girls and guys alike dream of having long, thick hair. How to make hair grow, keep hair healthy, and stop hair loss. People want to know how to get rid of dandruff, for example, and other similar things. There are a lot of products that might work well, but most of them don’t work forever and can be expensive. Here Are 7 Easy Tips To Grow Your Hair With The Right Diet:

1. Protein-rich diet

A diet high in protein helps hair grow in a big way. The hair is made up of 18 amino acids and 95% Keratin (building blocks of proteins). Eating healthy proteins help hair growth while protein deficiency can lead to slow hair growth and makes them weaker. Indian food is low in proteins because we eat a lot of carbs and forget about proteins. Good protein sources include eggs, milk, paneer, yogurt, cheese, chicken, poultry and certain cereal grains like Quinoa.

2. Biotin-rich foods to eat

Biotin is a B vitamin, and it helps hair grow in a healthy way. Almonds, walnuts, and vegetables like cauliflower and carrots are also good sources of Biotin. You also get protein from lentils and nuts, which you eat every day.

3. Foods high in iron

When we don’t get enough iron, our tissues, like hair follicles, don’t get enough oxygen. Along with iron, Ferritin is also important for hair growth, and a lack of it has been linked to hair loss and slow growth. Meat, chicken, eggs, green leafy vegetables, and fruits like Guava are all good sources of iron. Supplementation should be only under a doctors guidance.

4. Add more vitamins like B12, B6, and Folates

Vitamins play a major role in preventing and alleviating anaemias, hence daily consumption will help keep the flow of nutrients to the hair follicles robust and will keep the hair and scalp healthy. B vitamins can be found in rajma, beans, whole grains, and milk.

5. Fatty acids with omega-3

Omega-3 fatty acids are important for the health of your hair. Because these oils are important for healthy skin, they also help keep the scalp healthy. Dry scalp can make hair grow slowly. Omega-3 fats are abundant in fatty fish, flax seeds and walnuts.

6. Foods high in vitamin C

Most likely, vitamin C is the most important nutrient for healthy skin. Healthy hair growth starts with a healthy scalp. Vitamin C is also important for absorbing iron and preventing anemia. So, eat lots of citrus fruits, bell peppers, fresh lemon water, and other healthy foods every day.

7. Include Zinc-rich foods in diet

Zinc is a mineral that is needed in very small amounts but is crucial for a lot of essential processes in our body. In case of hair health, zinc is said to help keep the hair follicles in good health. It is also used to hold proteins together in our bodies. Zinc is found in large amounts in whole grains, legumes, peanuts, and sunflower seeds.

While a good healthy diet will help with hair growth, there are certainly other points to keep in mind:

  • Crash dieting or following fad diets that restrict food choices have a detrimental effect on the nutritional status of our body, which in turn will cause unhealthy hair.
  • Damage can also be caused by using chemicals and heat on hair too much. We love to dye our hair and style it, but too much of either might not be the best.
  • When you massage your hair with a good oil, it makes it feel fresh. It gets more blood to the roots and makes them stronger. Don’t miss out on it.
