Chuwi from China announced the new RZBOX with a faster CPU

The company has updated its RZBOX mini-PC to the Ryzen 7 5800H. The processor is an 8-core and 16-thread model with a boost clock of up to 4.4GHz. It is equipped with a GFX9 (Vega) display and has 8 compute units (512 processors), clocked up to 2.0GHz.

More importantly, the Ryzen 7 5800H uses the Zen3 architecture, which is an upgraded version of the Ryzen 9 4900H/Zen2-powered RZBOX released last year. Chuwi claims the new RZBOX is 18% faster than the Ryzen 7 4800H and 15% faster than the 4900H in the Cinebench R23 single-core test.

The RZBOX mini pc supports SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 up to 64GB and comes with a 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD. It can be further expanded through an auxiliary M.2 slot. The RZBOX with the 5800H won’t cost more than the 4900H model, which still has an MSRP of $699. In addition, the company promises to launch lower-end products with 6-core Ryzen 5 4600H or 5600H in the future.
