Abhishek Chatterjee, a Bangla television actor, died on Thursday at the age of 57. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, expressed her condolences on the actor’s death. “Sad to learn of our young actor Abhishek Chatterjee’s tragic demise,” Banerjee remarked. Abhishek’s performances were talented and varied, and we will miss him. It’s a huge blow to TV shows and the film business. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and friends.”
Chatterjee, according to reports, passed suddenly at his home in Kolkata. While the specific cause of death is unknown, Bharat Kal told Anandbazar Patrika that the actor fell ill a few days ago while filming a reality show. “Abhishek became ill for the first time on Tuesday as a result of food poisoning. After shooting for a while in that condition, he was transported home. On Wednesday, he arrived to Star Jalsa to film the reality show ‘Smart Pair.’ His blood pressure fell to 60 in an instant. He was served black coffee right away. Around 2.30 p.m., we returned him. He stated, “That was our last meeting”.
