Amitabh Bachchan Sends Wishes to Chanchal Chowdhury for “Padatik”

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan sent his best wishes on social media to Chanchal Chowdhury, a well-known actor from Bangladesh who would portray the great Indian director Mrinal Sen in Srijit Mukherji’s “Padatik”. The title of the movie, which is a biography on the late, great director Mrinal Sen, honors one of his iconic works from 1973.

On his Instagram, Srijit Mukherjee shared the movie’s poster and the casting of Chanchal Chowdhury as the unconventional storyteller. One of the forerunners of the New Cinema Movement was the renowned director Mrinal Sen. Together, the great director and his colleagues Ritwik Ghatak and Satyajit Ray brought about a significant paradigm shift in the Indian film industry.

Immediately following the release of the poster, Bollywood “Big B” Amitabh Bachchan shared the movie’s poster on Instagram with a heartfelt remark. Netizens’ excitement increased after the legendary actor from Bollywood sent his best wishes for “Padatik” and his team.

In “Padatik”, directed by Srijit Mukherjee, Chanchal Chowdhury and Monami Ghosh will star. The biopic’s filming is anticipated to begin this month.
