When will the ICC World Cup 2023 take place?
Over the course of 46 days, up to 48 games will be played, with each of the ten teams facing each other once in the league stage. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, which will be held on November 15 and 16, followed by the final on November 19 in Ahmedabad.

The event will begin with England taking on New Zealand at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata are among the ten venues shortlisted for the event.
The Teams for the ICC World Cup 2023
The event’s eight teams have been finalized. Host country India qualified directly, while Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa qualified via the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
Two other teams have yet to be determined and will compete in the tournament via the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers.
This will be India’s first time hosting the competition solely, having previously served as co-hosts with other subcontinent countries in 1987, 1996, and 2011.
Pakistan’s participation was questioned due to ongoing political tensions with India, and the team will play games in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata.
The crucial India-Pakistan match is set for October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
