The four-year wait for the ICC’s marquee 50-over tournament is over, as the schedule for the 50-over World Cup 2023, which will be held in India, is now available. The ODI World Cup is cricket’s largest global event, with a rich 47-year history to back it up. In this content, you will find ICC world cup 2023 fixture including timeTable, and venues.
The World Cup returns to India after an exciting tournament in 2019. The Men in Blue ended their 28-year World Cup title drought by defeating Sri Lanka in the Final the last time the tournament was held in the subcontinent.
This will be India’s fourth World Cup, following 1987, 1996, and 2011, and will undoubtedly be one of the world’s largest sporting events. However, there has been an unprecedented delay in the announcement of the fixtures, despite the fact that the World Cup begins in about four months.
England will face New Zealand in a rematch of the 2019 World Cup final, while India will begin their campaign against Australia on October 8.

When will the ICC World Cup 2023 take place?
Over the course of 46 days, up to 48 games will be played, with each of the ten teams facing each other once in the league stage. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, which will be held on November 15 and 16, followed by the final on November 19 in Ahmedabad.
The Venues for the ICC World Cup 2023
The event will begin with England taking on New Zealand at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata are among the ten venues shortlisted for the event.
The Teams for the ICC World Cup 2023
The event’s eight teams have been finalized. Host country India qualified directly, while Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa qualified via the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
Two other teams have yet to be determined and will compete in the tournament via the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers.
This will be India’s first time hosting the competition solely, having previously served as co-hosts with other subcontinent countries in 1987, 1996, and 2011.
Pakistan’s participation was questioned due to ongoing political tensions with India, and the team will play games in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata.
The crucial India-Pakistan match is set for October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
