In a tweet after his first policy statement, Musk said, “Anyone who says that criticizing them is questioning science itself can’t be considered a scientist.”

So far, no other details about the plan have been made public.

Since Elon Musk became CEO of Twitter, he has been in the spotlight for his social media presence.

The Twitter CEO has finally said something about how he plans to quit his job after Monday’s poll. Elon Musk wrote on the microblogging site, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone stupid enough to take the job!”

The multibillionaire also said that in the future, he will only run “the software and servers teams.”

The post got a lot of responses from netizens.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, started a poll on the microblogging site on Monday, December 19. He asked users if he should step down as CEO of the social media site and promised to follow the result.

Elon Musk posted on Twitter, “Should I quit being in charge of Twitter? I will go along with what this poll says.”

Within a few minutes of Musk’s cryptic tweet asking users if he should step down as head of the social media platform and promising to follow the result, the “yes” votes started to edge ahead, reaching up to 57.5 percent.

As a response, Musk said, “Be careful what you wish for because you might get it.”

This poll was made after Twitter said on Sunday that it would ban accounts that were used to promote other accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Mastodon.

Also, Twitter said that content from any social media platform can still be posted on Twitter. “It is also not against this policy to post links or usernames to social media sites that are not on the list above.”

Musk has been criticized for making big changes to Twitter’s rules in the past. This is one of those changes.
