  • Decreased Tread Depth

Tire treads are the gripping power of the tires and the decrease in these means that the tires will have a decreased grip on the road. 1/16th of an inch is the bare minimum depth required for a tire to have a good grip.   • Cracked and Weathered Rubber

Wear bars appear on the edges of the tires when your tire has experienced wear for a very long time. Treads are the most visible kind of wear on the tire. If wear bars seem noisy, it can be a sign that the tire is malfunctioning or is about to wear out.
