There is no rest for Jennifer Lopez as the buzz gets louder about her and Ben Affleck. The pop icon is gearing up to hit the road for her summer concert tour following the release of ‘Atlas’ as the No. 1 movie on Netflix in the U.S. and globally over Memorial Day weekend.
“They are still living apart,” a Lopez source tells PEOPLE.COM. “She’s currently in Los Angeles for her tour rehearsals.” She’s doing okay. She is very focused on work.”
Separate lives in Los Angeles
Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51, did not celebrate Mother’s Day together and are now residing apart under separate roofs in Los Angeles. Lopez’s most recent movie, Atlas, premiered over Memorial Day weekend as the No. 1 movie on Netflix in 55 countries, the streaming service said, noting that the sci-fi film drew 28.2 million views. In addition to the new film, Lopez is preparing for a North American summer tour, kicking off June 26 in Orlando.
Affleck’s recent outings
Affleck managed to get out on May 23 at the Los Angeles restaurant Giorgio Baldi with some friends while Lopez was in Mexico City for the red carpet premiere of her new Netflix film Atlas. Over the past few weeks, the actor has been filming The Accountant 2 on the west coast, while Lopez has been out promoting their film on her own.

In the new documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, the actor has said that he and Lopez are “two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise.
” Within the movie business, a source recently shared with PEOPLE that Affleck has never been entirely comfortable displaying his love for Lopez publicly by way of her art, but he has never wanted to get in the middle of who she is as an artist.
“He has always been astonished as to how hard she works and how much success she has gained,” says the film source. “But openness and publicity are not his styles.”
A blended family
In 2021, Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romantic relationship from the early 2000s, leading to their marriage in 2022. Though they haven’t had children of their own, the couple, nevertheless, are the proud parents of a blended family of six, which includes Diva’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, which she has with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12; the three kiddos that Affleck has with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
