Pixel 8 Event: Google to Announce New Phones, Wearables on October 4th

The fall season of major technology events is in full swing, and we now know when Google will have its big Pixel display. The next Made by Google event is scheduled for October 4th at 1PM, and there’s little doubt about what the firm will reveal. “You’re invited to an in-person Made by Google event where we’ll introduce the latest additions to our Pixel portfolio of devices,” according to an invitation received by Engadget.

The date was announced shortly after the business leaked an image of what appeared to be the Pixel 8 Pro on their storefront – coincidentally on the same day that Apple confirmed its iPhone event will take place on September 15th. Google could be announcing a new Pixel Watch, as well as other gear.

This event, like Microsoft’s (presumably Surface-related) event, will be held in New York City. Of course, Engadget will have complete coverage of any significant Made by Google announcements.
