The legendary “Jolene” and “9 to 5” singer shared the update directly with her fans on Instagram, explaining that her doctors have advised her to undergo a few medical procedures before returning to the stage.

Parton emphasized that she wanted her fans to hear the news directly from her rather than through speculation. “I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” she said. She added that although her health challenges require attention, she is not stepping away from music, assuring, “God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.”

New Dates for the Residency

The original schedule included six concerts in December 2025, which would have marked her first Las Vegas residency in over three decades. The shows have now been rescheduled for September 2026, giving Parton the time she needs to recover and prepare.

Ticketholders will not be left stranded: Caesars Palace confirmed that tickets can be refunded or transferred to the new dates. This decision ensures fans will still have the opportunity to experience the long-awaited performances, even if they have to wait a little longer.

Parton explained that rehearsing and assembling a production at the level she envisions is simply not possible right now. “I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see,” she said.

Still, she reassured fans that she would remain active in Nashville, continuing to work on her various projects — including writing, recording, and overseeing her businesses — while taking the necessary time to rest and heal.
