I am a big fan of Malayalam movies. Their storytelling, suspense, and character development are something we can compare to Korean and Spanish movies.

Top Malayalam Movies on OTT Platforms in 2024
More than 50 Malayalam movies on OTT platforms are going to release this year, and most of them have managed to deliver a flourishing performance.
As OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Sony Liv, or Zee5 are the most popular choice for entertainment, the Malayalam filmmakers took full advantage of the fast-paced market. With the global reach of Malayalam cinema, movies like Drishyam 2, Joji, C.U. Soon, and Minnal Murali flourished with appreciation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thus, not only did these movies achieve commercial success but they also thrived at the rating level.
Earlier this year, the surge in OTT releases kept audiences entertained as per demand. While most of them were pre-released in theaters, the convenience has made the small-screen release no less than a world-wide premiere. Let’s take a look on this years releases.
