Soumitra Chatterjee Opens Eyes But Still in Critical Condition
The physical condition of veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee is still critical. He opened his eyes several times. Doctors have performed dialysis on him, reports Ei Samay.
The doctors are worried about his hemoglobin levels. He has been given blood after his hemoglobin decreased. However, without any support, his blood pressure is normal.

Earlier, on 6 October, the Bangali actor tested positive for coronavirus and suffered from various physical problems. He was admitted to Belle Vue Clinic in Kolkata and has been there for 23 days.
Soumitra Chatterjee or Chattopadhyay made his debut in the film ‘Apur Sansar’ of Oscar winner Satyajit Ray. He in total starred in 14 of Satyajit Ray’s 34 films. He is also well known as a poet and a recitalist.
