Randhir Kapoor, a veteran actor, has announced Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding date. In a fresh interview, he stated that the couple will marry “around the 15th.” Randhir further stated that the wedding reception date will be decided on Wednesday. The actor is on his way from Goa to Mumbai.
According to Indian media reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s pre-wedding celebrations began on Wednesday. Ranbir’s mother, star Neetu Kapoor, was photographed outside Ranbir’s Vastu residence in Bandra with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and granddaughter Samara. All of them were clothed in traditional garb. According to news agency ANI, a pooja is being held at Ranbir’s residence in honor of his late father Rishi Kapoor.
“Ranbir is planning to be married, but not today,” Randhir remarked in an interview with Pinkvilla. It’s about the 15th of the month. I am overjoyed (for him). “That we are contemplating,” Randhir said of the couple’s greeting. I’m on my way home (to Mumbai). I was in Goa at the time. Now that I’m on my way back, we’ll talk about it today and make a decision.”
“I don’t know why people take such liberties with Alia and Ranbir,” Randhir had previously told BT. Is it true that they’re getting married at the RK House? I haven’t heard anything like it. I’m not aware of any.”
On Wednesday, security precautions were made outside Ranbir’s house, with several security guards seen erecting up barricades at the front gate outside his Bandra property Vastu. The guards were also observed placing pink stickers on the phones of those entering the house.
Vastu, as well as Alia Bhatt’s Juhu home, were recently decked out in beautiful pink and golden lights. While the couple has been tight-lipped about their wedding plans, a car loaded with Sabyasachi dresses was recently sighted at Ranbir’s house.
On the set of their upcoming Ayan Mukerji film Brahmastra, Alia and Ranbir started dating. The film, which combines mythology and science fiction, will be released in five Indian languages on September 9: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
