Jill was an exceptional actress, possessing comedic timing reminiscent of a Marx Brothers film and exuding Hollywood glamour from its heyday. Jill took us on so many adventures, and she was an absolute blast. Thank you, Jill. We’ll see you in our dreams.”

Jacobson opened up about her battle with esophageal cancer in September 2023 during an interview with broadcaster Jim Masters. She shared the emotional toll of her illness and her gratitude for being able to continue living a meaningful life:
“What I went through was pretty intense. You can’t function, you just can’t function. And now I’m so grateful. I just want to keep going, I want to help people. It makes you want to help people.”
