The feature appears in your Story and displays a remembrance in the form of Instagram material you uploaded on that date, regardless of how long ago it was.
Here’s how to get it in just a few simple steps:

3. Select “Create” from the drop-down menu (the text symbol on the left of the screen).
4. Scroll to the bottom right until you find the “On This Day” Feature, which is represented by a clock with a counter-clockwise arrow.
5. The tool will display you one of your posts, along with how many years ago you posted it, to see if you have a “On This Day.”
6. Simply tap the clock sign to capture the frame and upload it to your Story. Then, in the lower left corner, tap “Your Story.”
However, there is another option! You can also use your Story Archive to access the “On This Day” feature.
1. Go to your Instagram profile and tap the three lines in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Select Archive from the drop-down menu.
Posts you’ve archived, a calendar of when you posted to your tale, places, and “On This Day” will all be in your Archive.
3. To view posts you’ve made “On This Day,” tap share beneath memories.
That’s all there is to it. Your “On This Day” post will be saved to your Instagram Story, where your followers (or your mother) may see it and reminisce. Before you submit, you can get creative and add stickers, text, or markups. You can also leave it alone. In any case, let the reminiscing begin.
