Gurucharan Singh Taarak Mehta Missing Report

Actor Gurucharan Singh, known for his portrayal of the beloved character Roshan Singh Sodhi in the immensely popular TV serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been reported missing in a distressing turn of events.

The Press Trust of India (PTI), citing sources within the Delhi Police, broke the news of Singh’s disappearance first.

The 39-year-old actor, who has been a part of the show since 2008, had reportedly left his residence in Delhi’s Hari Nagar area on the evening of April 22nd, around 8:30 PM, with the intention of travelling to Mumbai.

However, he never reached his destination, and his whereabouts have remained unknown since then, prompting his family to file a missing person complaint with the Delhi Police.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Rohit Meena confirmed the details of the case, stating, “Gurucharan Singh’s family lodged a complaint with us that he left for Mumbai on April 22nd at 8:30 PM.

He has been missing since then. We have registered a case under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating from multiple angles.”Section 365 of the IPC pertains to kidnapping or abducting with the intent to wrongfully confine a person, indicating the seriousness with which the authorities are treating this case.

Meena further elaborated on the ongoing investigation, saying, “We are looking for footage and technical investigation, and we have even found many vital clues.

The initial probe involves following his movement according to CCTVs and analyzing corroborative technical evidence. He is seen going with a backpack.”

A source speaking to PTI revealed that the police are actively scanning CCTV footage to gather more information and understand the circumstances surrounding Singh’s disappearance, stating, “We are scanning CCTV footage to know what exactly has happened.”

Singh’s father, while expressing concern over his son’s well-being, has reassured the authorities that his son is mentally stable. “We had been searching for him, but now he has been missing,” he told the news agency ANI.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which first aired in 2008, has become a cultural phenomenon in India, with Gurucharan Singh’s portrayal of the endearing Roshan Singh Sodhi earning him a dedicated fan following.

His sudden disappearance has left his co-stars, crew members, and fans deeply worried and hoping for his safe return.

As the investigation continues, the Delhi Police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to locate the missing actor, pursuing all possible leads and examining every piece of evidence to unravel the mystery surrounding his disappearance.

The case has once again highlighted the importance of prompt action and thorough investigation in missing person cases, as every minute counts in ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual involved.
